The final single before unleashing their debut album, hard rock trio DELLA NOVA are back with a defiant anthem “Stand Up”. Fusing the rebellious energy of punk with their signature groovy hard rock sound, this track is an explosive vessel to deliver a powerful call to action and the message is clear: we must stand up as one united human race against the oppressors and the powers that divide us; to fix a broken world.

Driven by unrelenting, 8 string guitar groovery (yes, we made up a word), distorted bass wizardry and rapid drum passages, “Stand Up’s” instrumental holds down a formidable bedrock for vocalist Alex to shout his war-cry to the people.
Taking the listener on a voyage that ebbs and flows through a frenzy of big riffs, it transitions into a soft, heartfelt interlude before exploding with a blistering guitar solo worthy of '70s psychedelic rock acclaim. 'Stand Up' is a journey that will get you on your feet and ready for action.

The official music video, dropping on the same day, perfectly captures the raw power and urgency of "Stand Up." Featuring an eruptive live performance, intertwined with moving visuals of recent protests and uprisings. Ground shattering groove and slicker than a wiseguys wedding. DELLA NOVA - three piece Rock outfit hailing from the UK’s capital. Fusing elements of Hard Rock, Grunge & Progressive, they have recently birthed their scrupulously crafted, self-titled debut album.
Founded by songwriter, singer & 8 string guitarist Alex Bowmer, he recruited long time collaborator Joe Chauncy on bass and, more recently, Adam Szabo on drums.
The name DELLA NOVA emerged when Alex was working for a witch in 2019; in reference to the secret magical order ‘The Ordine Della Nova’, who operated in the 1980s.
The band’s musical identity transcends multiple generations of Rock. From Black Sabbath through to Alice in Chains, Audioslave to Royal Blood. DELLA NOVA’s sound pays tribute to the giants that came before them but with a new energy of modern progressive.
Their self-titled debut will be unveiled December 2024.
