In the build up to the debut album launching December 2024, London-based rock trio DELLA NOVA re-release their debut single WACHASAY. 

 

It's a statement first track of the album, encapsulating all the sonic elements which define the band; over-driven bass, big riffs, catchy hooks, and screaming guitar solos. It reignites a classic hard rock sound and blazes modern grunge with some real attitude.

 

Like their forthcoming album, WACHASAY was a product of the pandemic. All live performances had ceased and a unique opportunity arose for creative binges. Alex, the band's songwriter and frontman, relished those lockdown days when he composed most of the album's tracks. "WACHASAY is a retrospective song," he says, "and a theme that I'm sure many listeners can relate to; where you've moved on from a relationship that's dragging you down."

WACHASAY was originally released in February 2023, but has since been remixed and remastered by Ben Jeffes, who is a renowned sound professional in the film industry having worked on multiple Hollywood movies. He is working with DELLA NOVA as a personal project, expanding his work into the music industry.
